We celebrate the Hungarian Day of Poetry on 11th April every year, which is the birthday of the famous Hungarian poet Attila József. This year, Year 7-9 Hungarian students were asked to take part in a poetry competition by paraphrasing a Hungarian poem of their choice. Some outstanding pieces were sent in from all three year groups. Students could vote for their favourite poems anonymously on Firefly. The following three poems received the most votes.
