In both Drama and Music, students in Year 7 have been studying Chinese Theatre as part of a collaborative project between the two subjects.
As well as designing and creating masks using symbolic colours associated with Chinese Theatre, students learned and practised some Tai Chi sequences. Combining their movements with pieces of traditional Chinese music, students created routines demonstrating balance, fluidity, and control. Take a look at their creative performances, which may inspire you to practise some Tai Chi between online lessons!
