As part of Year 10 Discovery’s Service Learning Project, we have been working in coordination with Budapest Street Project to promote their various drives in school.
Last term saw our tutor group collect hats and socks which were then distributed to homeless people in Budapest. However, we did not want to stop there, so last week we mobilised to collect essential toiletry items for Budapest’s homeless.
We designed a poster that was displayed around school, and two students created a Firefly page which was shared with other students. As you can see from the picture, pupils donated a lot of products and we are very grateful for their generosity.
