BISB has hosted the first Budapest Invitational U19 Multisport Festival 2022 last weekend, welcoming schools from Oxford, Lausanne, Bratislava and Budapest. WOLVES represented BISB, with 61 Year 10-13 student-athletes, playing more than 100 Football, Volleyball and Basketball games in total over the two days.
It was a great opportunity for students and their coaches to meet old friends, make new friendships and take part in a friendly, inspirational, non-competitive sports event. Despite the festival-nature of the event, there was still a good competitive spirit which contributed to players gaining confidence. WOLVES proudly represented BISB with integrity, displaying sportsmanship and playing with resilience. We look forward to hosting further international sports events, starting Season 3 training sessions and entering our teams to further DVAC competitions in the summer term.
GO WOLVES!
