Thursday and Friday 17th-18th February was the Nord Anglia European Model United Nations, graciously hosted by Collège Champittet.
BISB students had a wonderful time participating in the debate, with approximately 100 delegates from Warsaw, La Cote, Champitett, Beau Soleil, Madrid, Rotterdam, Moscow, Bratislava and Prague. They also did exceptionally well, winning an unprecedented amount of awards!!

We also had some winners of ‘Best Delegate’, with BISB students bringing home the title in 5 out of 6 committees:
Three of our students - Srinidhi Seshan, Julianna Kutas and Khadija Zulqarnain - were selected as co-chairs, liaising with students from other schools to plan their committee's resources, activities and sessions.
The Conference was on War and Peace and the students found it a motivational experience, stretching their creativity and problem solving as they took on the role of world leaders to solve the world’s problems in less than 48 hours!
Next week the group go to KARMUN, a large conference in Budapest and we hope they will have similar success.

Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
