The Eco Runway is a project led by the MUSE team to combat the growing issue of fast fashion. Last half term, the MUSE team successfully ran a ’Sweet Exchange', where people donated their clothes in exchange for sweets and baked goods.
The clothes were then used to create outfits of various styles for different age groups. The outfits were showcased to the school on a runway in the atrium on Friday the 25th of March and aimed to inspire and encourage students to reuse their clothes and consider sustainable uses of fashion. All clothes from the event will eventually be donated to vulnerable groups.
