As part of Year 10 Service-learning Action Week on the theme of the Unhoused, Year 10 Kontiki investigated ways to support unhoused women.
They partnered up with the Budapest Bike Mafia to find out more and then planned and conducted a donation drive of women’s products on International Women’s Day. Their project was a success; last week they delivered eight boxes of women’s products to the BMSZKI women’s homeless shelter at Dozsa Gyorgy street in collaboration with the Budapest Bike Mafia’s #longlivethegirls campaign.
You can find out more from Alex, the Kontiki Project Manager in this demonstration video. Thank you to all who donated and supported the students in their Service-learning project.
