BISB WOLVES hosted the first DVAC Volleyball Festival for Middle School (U14) girls and boys since it was last organised in 2019. It was remarkable to meet fellow coaches and student athletes again from other DVAC schools in Hungary, Austria and Slovakia.
10 teams from Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest played 19 games in total on three courts, developing skills, teamwork and communication as well as boosting confidence and knowledge of match protocols and game rules. WOLVES played with outstanding resilience and positive enthusiasm, occasionally playing teams of older and more experienced athletes. Spectators and parent supporters have contributed to the fantastic atmosphere of the event.
BISB WOLVES keep training hard and carrying on playing their scheduled weekly fixtures in preparation for the season-ending DVAC Volleyball Tournaments. These will be hosted by BISB for boys and by Vienna International School for girls on Saturday 21st May.
Go WOLVES!
