To celebrate Earth Day on the 22nd April, students were invited to contribute their own photographs of nature for a competition as part of Humanities Week. The results from the large number of entries we received were certainly impressive, from fantastic landscapes to shots that got up close and personal with wildlife.
It was a challenge for our judging panel to select the winning photographs. We awarded four photographers with highly commended:
Deshika Sathya Narayanan - Year 9 Kontiki;
Panni Adamfi - Year 7 Endeavour;
Dora Tordai - Year 11 Kontiki;
Mate Perenyei - Year 8 Kontiki
The prize winners were:
Suju Son - Year 12 Calypso (4th Prize);
Max Strohmayer - Year 10 Discovery (Third Prize);
Elizaveta Vizitiu - Year 8 Discovery (Second Prize);
Aliz Torma - Year 11 Endeavour (First Prize).
Congratulations to all!
