On Thursday, we went to the forest to start our new topic about rocks, soil and fossils. Once we got to the forest, the teachers asked us to find a white chalk brick and use two special tools to dig into the brick to get a surprise.
“We found some dinosaur skull and some even found small body parts and put them together” says Ella who was one of the students who found a fossil.
Every student found one! We found the heads and even whole bodies. Some students dug the surprise out really quickly while others dug their surprise out slowly. When we got back we dug some more and polished the remains. We were very lucky. The teachers said that one day we could keep them. What a surprise. We are the luckiest kids on Earth!
