We are happy to announce that we’ve been awarded the Bronze Social Impact Award in recognition of our commitment to placing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the heart of our ethos and our work towards becoming a Nord Anglia Social Impact School.
The Social Impact Award is a three-tiered award based on the principles of equality, dignity, respect, non-discrimination, and participation. It takes a whole-school approach to child rights education, which can be defined as learning about rights, learning through rights, and learning for rights within an overall context of education as a right.
We’ve completed the first step, the Bronze level, and will continue to work towards Silver, furthering our aims of empowered students, sustainable school.
