Year 5's topic this term is Space, and the children were tasked to design a capsule for a moon landing with as many recyclable materials as possible. The astronaut (hard-boiled egg) needed to survive several drops from various heights. The final height was the top of the Science building! The astronaut also had to be able to exit the capsule easily for inspection after each landing.
There were some egg-traordinary and eggcellent designs!
Well done Year 5!
