Journey’s End: December 12th and 13th 6 p.m. in the theatre
After three years of absence, the English play returns with a stellar production of R.C. Sherriff’s Journey’s End. Set in a dugout in a World War 1 trench, the play details the anxious wait of a small group of officers and soldiers for an attack by the enemy. Sherriff explores weighty themes such as heroism, comradeship, and the futility of war, though the play is punctuated with some comic relief. Directed by Mr Kirk Wootton, who has taken over full directorial responsibility from Mr Douglas Allan, the cast of ten includes students ranging from Year 9 to 12. They have worked incredibly hard this term on this great production.
Please come along to support this wonderful production on either December 12th or 13th. Free tickets are available from reception before 2.30 p.m. on any school day. There will be a bake sale in the interval in support of the Tanzania trip.

Last week, Year 6 performed our wonderful musical production for the parents and younger children in school. It was a play called Troy Story - it was about the Greeks and Trojans who were at war and had lots of drama.
As the academic year draws to a close, our Early Years students marked the occasion in the most joyful way possible, with Splash Day, a much-loved BISB tradition that brings together sunshine, water play, and the simple delight of being a child.
