Our nurses have a wealth of experience, both in China and internationally, and are always on hand to support our students when they need help. Meet our dedicated team and find out what they love about working at BSG and NAISGZ!

Name: Echo Tan

Qualifications : Bachelor of Nursing from Nursing School, Central South University, Hunan.

Background: Previous work experience includes Guangzhou Military Region General Hospital, Distinct Health Care and Yew Wah International Education School Of Guangzhou.

Why I love BSG:

I was delighted to join BSG in December 2020 as Senior School Nurse, based at our South Lake Campus. Every day in our school is a joy for me, as I am fortunate to be part of the health team supporting children and staff from Year 1 through to Year 13.

The children are fantastic and we hear lots of interesting stories from them all the time. The fact that school has such well-established systems and policies, with all staff well-trained, means that keeping the students both well and safe is very rewarding. That’s why I love working at BSG!  

Name: Joanne Tan 

Qualifications:  Bachelor of Nursing/Registered Nurse

Background: Worked as a Registered Nurse in a Public Hospital in Guangzhou for 8 years, plus 3 years of work experience in New Zealand. Have been working as a School Nurse at BSG for over 13 years. 

Why I love BSG:

There are three reasons I love to work at BSG. First, BSG has created an environment where students come to school with a smile, enjoy their learning and also achieve excellent academic results. I am grateful to be part of the team to support our students. Also, I enjoy the beautiful view of the school. Lastly, I am proud to witness the school grow from a small school with less than 200 students to be the best international school in Guangzhou. 

Name: Ninemoon Zhang

Qualifications: Double Bachelor of Nursing and Law

Background: Graduated from Southern Medical University. Served in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.

Why I love BSG:

I have been working at BSG for more than 2 years. Teachers and children are very free here, and I have learned many things from them. I take care of sick or injured children and they teach and remind me to be happy.

Name: Rose Yan

Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing, Nursing School of Sichuan

Background: Work experience includes Zhongshan People’s Hospital and Global Doctor Guangzhou.

Why I love NAISGZ:

Firstly, our school is quite beautiful! We have well-established systems and policies and all our colleagues are well-trained, which means students here are both well and safe.

Secondly, I have always had a passion to work with children. Every day in our school is a joy for me, as I am fortunate to be part of the health team supporting children and staff here at NAISGZ. I have a happy time with the students at school, and I do my best to help everyone with my nursing knowledge.
