Year 7 Sparks Excitement in the Science Lab!

Year 7 have been busy turning ideas into action! This week, the class focused on planning scientific investigations, thinking carefully about variables, steps, and methods to make their experiments reliable. Their discussions were full of curiosity and creativity, and it was wonderful to see students so engaged in planning their
work.

The excitement continued with a hands-on session using Bunsen burners. Students learned key safety rules before putting their skills into practice. Flames flickered, temperatures were controlled, and everyone handled the equipment with care and confidence.

The lab was buzzing with energy as students worked independently and in pairs, staying focused and supporting each other. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it’s
clear that Year 7B are thriving when it comes to hands-on science.

From careful planning to safe, practical experiments, Year 7B are showing real curiosity, confidence, and commitment. We can’t wait to see what they explore next!
