From Term 2, our Toddler Cubs have started exploring their new core text 'The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round'. The little ones joined lots of fun activities including singing, creative painting, texture-mixing crafts, bus- themed role play and sensory exploration, supporting their physical skills, communication ability and social confidence.

Our Toddler Cubs recently shone brightly at our lovely Stay and Learn Event! The fun began with a mysterious red surprise box. The children were full of curiosity and excitement as they explored inside. Later, we enjoyed the story 'Maisy’s Bus' together. When they found familiar items from the book, they happily shouted out vehicle sounds: the bus went “beep-beep-beep”, the bike went “ring-ring-ring”! They also guessed who would wait at the bus stop and get on Maisy’s bus next. This interactive moment helped the children connect the story to real speaking practice and build better communication skills.

The warmest part of the day was the parent-child bonding time! Everyone sang 'The Wheels on the Bus' together. Children played with shiny sand trays to practise fine motor control and focus, created beautiful art and crafts, and explored a busy street scene on a large play mat. All activities mirrored the lively setting of the book, helping little learners understand the world around them better. These wonderful teamwork moments also showed our warm class community spirit.
