BSG Graduation Ceremony 2026 - Celebrating the Class of 2026

A proud evening for the Class of 2026

On the evening of 17 June, The British School of Guangzhou hosted the official Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel.

As the graduates entered to the sound of Pomp and Circumstance, the audience rose to their feet. Parents, friends and staff applauded in recognition of this important milestone. It was a powerful moment that marked the culmination of years of dedication, growth and achievement.

A journey defined by growth and resilience

Once seated, the Head of Sixth Form addressed the audience and reflected on the achievements of Year 13. He described the cohort as impressive, ambitious and memorable.

Throughout their Sixth Form journey, students have grown into confident and reflective individuals. They have developed a strong sense of purpose and a clear vision for their future.

This journey has not always been easy. Students have faced academic challenges, navigated university applications and taken on leadership roles within the school. Alongside this, they have embraced enrichment opportunities and managed the demands of preparing for life beyond school.

In doing so, they have shown resilience, determination and maturity. These qualities have shaped them into thoughtful and capable young adults who are ready for the next stage of their journey.

A lasting impact on the school community

The Class of 2026 has made a meaningful contribution to the BSG community. They have led by example and supported one another throughout their time in Sixth Form.

They have represented the school with pride and have left a positive and lasting impact on those around them. Their presence will be missed, but their legacy will remain.
