Connecting Our Community at BSG's Garden Party

Last Saturday, The British School of Guangzhou welcomed families, friends, alumni, former staff, and community partners to our first major event of the academic year, the "Connecting Our Community" Garden Party.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to bring together current and former members of the BSG family, along with friends and neighbours from across Guangzhou, to celebrate the start of another exciting school year. With favourable weather and a vibrant atmosphere, the campus was filled with laughter, conversation, and community spirit.

Visitors enjoyed a wide range of activities throughout the morning. Children had great fun on the inflatables and water slides, while others tested their skills at classic games including Hook a Duck, the Bean Bag Throw, and the Electronic Maze. Many families also visited our new Innovation Zone to explore some of the latest learning technologies available at BSG.

A special thank you goes to our dedicated staff and student volunteers who helped organise and run activities across the campus. Their enthusiasm and commitment ensured a memorable experience for everyone who attended.

Our talented students also entertained guests with a variety of live performances organised by the Performing Arts team. These performances showcased the creativity, confidence, and talent that are such an important part of life at BSG.

It was particularly special to welcome back former colleagues and alumni families. Seeing old friends reconnect and strengthen long-standing relationships highlighted the enduring sense of belonging within the BSG community.

We would also like to thank our community partners, including SMART Academy, SK Sharks, Guangzhou Rams, FNE Travel, Euram Medical Centre, Tiger-Do and many others, as well as the food vendors who provided a wonderful selection of refreshments throughout the event.

At BSG, people matter and community matters. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the Garden Party such a success. Together, we continue to build the strong, welcoming community that makes BSG such a special place.
