Daniel McKechnie

Daniel Craig McKechnie is an EAL (English as an Additional Language) teacher from Scotland. He embarked on his teaching journey in China in 2018 and has been with The British School of Guangzhou since 2022.

Daniel's passion for education is complemented by his strong academic background in Chemical Engineering, which he studied at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. His engineering background has equipped him with a unique perspective on problem-solving and analytical thinking, which he effectively applies in his teaching methodologies.

Outside the classroom, Daniel is actively involved with the primary basketball and football teams, where he serves as a coach and mentor to young athletes. His dedication to fostering a love for sports helps instill values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience among his students.
