Jonathan is a highly qualified individual with extensive experience in the field of education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in international studies from the University of Leeds. Additionally, Jonathan has obtained the NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership) from the Institute of Education, UCL.

Jonathan kick-started his career by teaching History at two comprehensive schools in the United Kingdom. Following this, he made a significant move to Japan, where he dedicated five years of his professional life as the Whole School Development Lead for High Performance Learning (HPL) at the renowned British School in Tokyo. Building upon his success in Japan, Jonathan went on to serve as an Assistant Headteacher at St. Paul's School in Sao Paulo and most recently as the Head of Secondary at the British International School of Ljubljana (BISL) in Slovenia.

Driven by his strong belief in the concept of a learning organization, Jonathan envisions schools as places where both students and teachers can thrive. He fosters an environment of high expectations, investigative enquiry, and a growth mindset. Jonathan is eager to become acquainted with the BSG community and contribute his expertise to its growth.

Outside of his professional endeavours, Jonathan has an ardent passion for mountain activities. He enjoys exploring new places alongside his wife and their young son.
