Tim is an experienced classroom practitioner with over 15 years of teaching experience. For the past five years, he has been teaching in China, specifically in Fuzhou and Haikou. Originally from New Zealand, Tim is currently pursuing his Master's in Education.
Tim is joining the BSG community after serving as a Boarding Housemaster and Upper School English Teacher at AISL Harrow Haikou. His students have praised him for his passion, respectfulness, and high standards. Excited about joining BSG, Tim appreciates its holistic approach, focusing on developing lifelong learners and fostering positive decision-making.
Outside of the classroom, Tim enjoys various hobbies and activities. He is an avid reader, sports enthusiast, and loves to explore his culinary skills through cooking. Music and travel are also sources of inspiration and joy for Tim. He lives by the motto, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained," which reflects his belief in embracing new experiences and encouraging his students to do the same.
