Zona brings a wealth of experience in the field of teaching, with a particular focus on English as an Additional Language (EAL). With 8 years of experience, she has worked as both an EAL teacher and Head of Year in Beijing and Xiamen, China. Zona's educational background includes an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Sunderland, and an MA in Translating and Interpreting from the University of Newcastle. She has also obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education International (PGCEi) from the University of Nottingham.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Zona has a passion for staying active. She enjoys cycling, playing ultimate frisbee, and netball. Additionally, she loves traveling with her husband and two children, as it allows them to embrace and learn from different cultures and traditions.
