On Saturday 10th April our KS5 band ‘The Darrows’ took part in a fantastic Battle of the Bands competition involving 6 international schools in HCMC.
Each band performed 2 songs to a live audience and 3 guest judges. In a true billingual style, ‘The Darrows’ performed one song in Vietnamese (Nứt - Ngọt ) and one in English (Bad Romance -Lady Gaga). Their performances were full of energy, passion, excitement and had the audience all singing along! At the end of the event the results came in and ‘The Darrows ‘won second place in the competition!

An incredible achievement for a fantastic band and the first time BVIS has been involved in this HCMC competition! Well done The Darrows!
