Congratulations to Tuong An on your next destination after graduating with a major in Biomedical Science major at the University of Melbourne, ranked #1 in Australia and #33 worldwide according to QS World University Rankings 2022!

The excellent academic performance, impressive profile with a variety of extra-curricular activities helped Tuong An to gain offers from 5 leading universities in Australia and Canada including University of Melbourne, University of Toronto, University of Sydney, University of Monash and University of Technology Sydney.

"I believe that a good healthcare system is the foundation for a healthy economy and society," shared Tuong An about the Biomedical Science that she will further pursue in the future.

Choosing Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Maths within the International A Level curriculum helped Tuong An to form well-rounded skills and mindset linked to her favourite subject of Biomedical Science. 

In addition, she also invested her after school time to be involved in community service projects that not only helped others but also developed important skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication and empathy.

Some of the projects she was involved in included:

• OAK Organisation (President 2020-2021): Organised summer courses for students at Mrs Muoi Orphanage and a charity performance for 100 guests
• Sunflower Pocket (Project Manager, 2017-2019) Fundraising to support patients at the Eye Hospital in HCMC 
• The pink wish (Volunteer, 2018) Organising monthly birthday parties for patients at the Children’s Hospital 2
