Darragh completed his initial teacher training in the Republic of Ireland. After qualifying, he began his teaching career in Doha, Qatar. Here he taught across Key Stage 1 and he was Curriculum Enrichment Coordinator. After his time in the Middle East, Darragh moved to Prague, Czech Republic. While in Prague, Darragh joined the Nord Anglia Education family of schools. He held positions in both pastoral and academic areas of the school as Head of Year and English subject coordinator. Most recently, Darragh has worked in our sister school, BIS Hanoi, as the Assistant Head of Primary. This experience living in Vietnam has fostered a greater appreciation and understanding of the country. Darragh is an experienced CIS accreditation evaluator, having visited and helped many schools through their international accreditation process.
Darragh enjoys reading, cycling, squash, tennis, exploring new places, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures through travel.
