The world is changing at a fast pace, and so too should our education. In the 2016/17 John Catt’s Guide to International Schools, Nord Anglia Education CEO, Andrew Fitzmaurice, talks about the need to evolve education to suit the 21st century.

For the start of the 2016/17 academic year, I wrote a foreword for the latest John Catt's Guide to International Schools which I thought you may find of interest. The biannual publication focuses on international, school-age education around the world.

I have written about the changing landscape of schools and our approach to ensuring we provide our students with an education fit for the 21st century.

The full foreword is available to read online here: The changing landscape of international schools. The 2016/17 International Schools Guide is available for purchase from the publisher John Catt.

In the foreword, I invite educators to think about whether or not they are providing students with an education that will prepare them for the future. As an international schools organisation, Nord Anglia aims to serve a growing community of global citizens that will prepare them for the 21st century. This includes collaborations with tertiary learning institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), The Juilliard School and King’s College London. In addition, our Global Campus aims to build connections between our schools worldwide to strengthen cultural understanding, collaboration and community service.
