Outstanding IB results for the Class of 2025 of Collège du Léman

We at Collège du Léman, a leading international school in Versoix, Canton of Geneva, are once again celebrating our students’ exceptional academic success in this year’s International Baccalaureate (IB) results for the 2024/25 academic year.
   

A Perfect IB Diploma Pass Rate

 

We are proud to announce that all 66 of our IB Diploma Programme candidates at Collège du Léman have successfully earned their diplomas — an exceptional 100% pass rate for 2025! This outstanding achievement not only reflects the resilience, diligence, and academic excellence of our students, but also the unwavering support from our passionate teachers and dedicated families.

Even more impressively, this marks the fifth consecutive year that CDL has achieved a perfect IB pass rate. In a year when IB grading has returned to pre-pandemic standards, our students have demonstrated that true excellence stands the test of time and challenge.

This remarkable milestone reaffirms CDL’s long-standing commitment to academic rigour, holistic education, and a culture of success.

 

Results That Surpass Global Averages  

Our students achieved an average score of 35 points out of 45, notably higher than the global average of 30.58 for the May 2025 session.    

Highlights include:  

 

• 41% of our students scored 37 points or higher, securing places at their top-choice universities. 
• 17% achieved 40 points or more, placing them among the highest-performing IB students globally.
• 1 student earned a perfect score of 45 — the coveted “magic number” that few students worldwide achieve.  

 

IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) Excellence  

Success at CDL extended beyond the Diploma Programme. All 15 IBCP students passed their examinations and earned their Career-related Diplomas, a testament to the strength of our dual-pathway IB offering.

Jana Krainova - Samuda, Head of the IB Programme, shared:  
“Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it — all our students received their IB Diploma, with 11 scoring 40 points or more! A huge thank you to our students and teachers for going above and beyond, once again. This is CDL: excellence, commitment, and community. This is what makes us special!”

These include QS 2025 global top 50 universities such as:

We are incredibly proud of all our students, especially those who achieved exceptional personal milestones. Here’s what some of our graduates had to say about their university choices and the value of the IBDP in shaping their academic journey: 

 

• Keaton earned a perfect score of 45 and has been accepted to UC Berkeley to study Astrophysics. 
  
  
• Youssef is heading to University of St. Gallen for Economics, stating:  
  “My time at Collège du Léman has been transformative — a journey marked by intellectual challenge, personal growth, and lifelong connections. The IB prepared me to thrive in a competitive, international environment like St. Gallen’s. My goal is to pursue a career in banking, and there is no better place to do that than Switzerland.”  
  
  
• Joanne, who will study Biomedical Science at UCLA, shared:  
  “The IBDP taught me that perseverance and tenacity are essential to overcoming challenges and achieving success.”
