2026 Academic Results at Collège du Léman, Geneva: IB, Swiss Maturité, French Bac & American Diploma

Collège du Léman is one of the few schools in Switzerland to offer five internationally recognised diploma pathways, enabling every student to follow the curriculum that best matches their strengths, aspirations and university ambitions. The outstanding achievements of the Class of 2026 once again reflect the strength of this personalised approach.
Students delivered exceptional results across every pathway, including an average score of 34.4 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), well above the worldwide average of 30.88, as well as 100% pass rates in the Swiss Maturité, French Baccalauréat and International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP).
Graduates also received offers from some of the world's leading universities across Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and beyond.
These achievements were celebrated at our Graduation Ceremony, held at the Palexpo Congress Centre in June 2026. Students, families and staff came together to mark this important milestone with inspiring speeches, memorable performances and a celebration of the hard work, resilience and ambition that define the Collège du Léman community.

International Baccalaureate Results 2026 (IBDP & IBCP)
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
Collège du Léman's International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme students once again achieved outstanding results in 2026, reflecting the strength of our personalised approach to learning and university preparation. Our students achieved an impressive average score of 34.4 points, significantly above the worldwide average of 30.88 points. Twenty-two per cent of students scored 40 points or more, placing them among the highest-performing IB students worldwide, while one student achieved an exceptional 43 points. Overall, 98% of candidates were awarded the IB Diploma, demonstrating both academic excellence and resilience.

International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme
Students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme continued this tradition of success, with 100% of candidates successfully earning their IB Career-related Diplomas. Combining the academic rigour of the IB with career-related learning, the IBCP equips students with the knowledge, practical skills and international outlook needed to thrive at university and in their future careers.

French Baccalauréat Results 2026
Collège du Léman's French Baccalauréat students once again delivered outstanding results, achieving a 100% pass rate for the 13th consecutive year and continuing a long tradition of academic excellence. This year's cohort also achieved an exceptional standard of performance, with 82% of students graduating with honours (mentions), including 60% awarded the prestigious Mention Bien or Mention Très Bien, recognising high and very high academic achievement.
Accredited by the Grenoble Rectorat and a member of the Groupement des Écoles Suisses préparant au Baccalauréat Français (GESBF), Collège du Léman delivers the French National Curriculum to the highest standards. Combining rigorous academic study with continuous assessment over two years, the French Baccalauréat develops analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity and strong written and oral communication skills, preparing students for admission to leading universities in France, Switzerland and around the world.
Swiss Maturité Results 2026
Students in Collège du Léman’s bilingual Swiss Maturité programme once again achieved exceptional results in the 2026 winter session of the Federal Maturité, with every candidate successfully earning the diploma and securing a 100% pass rate. The strength of this year’s cohort is also reflected in the quality of the results. The highest-performing student achieved an outstanding 111 points out of 126, while 64% of students scored more than 100 points.
These achievements highlight the academic rigour of the Swiss Maturité, one of Switzerland’s most demanding school-leaving qualifications. At Collège du Léman, students study across 13 subjects in both French and English, developing the depth of knowledge, intellectual versatility and bilingual confidence required to succeed at leading universities in Switzerland and around the world.
American High School Diploma
Students following the American High School Diploma once again achieved outstanding results in 2026, with an impressive 98% graduation rate. Designed for students in Grades 9 to 12, this flexible and personalised programme combines a strong academic foundation with the freedom to tailor studies to individual strengths, interests and university aspirations.
Alongside a broad range of compulsory and elective subjects, students can further enrich their education by taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses and, in Grades 11 and 12, combining their studies with International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme courses.
This unique flexibility allows students to build an academic profile that reflects their ambitions while preparing them for admission to leading universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe and around the world.
Advanced Placement (AP)
The Advanced Placement (AP) programme gives ambitious students the opportunity to study university-level courses while still in secondary school, developing the knowledge, critical thinking and independent learning skills expected by leading universities worldwide.
In 2026, 87% of CDL students passed their AP examinations, achieving an impressive average score of 3.53 out of 5. Many students earned scores of 4 or 5, demonstrating academic excellence across a broad range of disciplines, including mathematics, sciences, humanities and the arts.
As part of our American High School Diploma pathway, AP courses enable students to challenge themselves academically, strengthen their university applications and, in many cases, earn university credit or advanced standing. Together with personalised guidance from our teachers and university counselling team, they provide excellent preparation for higher education around the world.

Students from the Class of 2026 received offers from leading universities across Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and beyond, including the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, University College London (UCL), the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), EPFL, ETH Zurich, the University of St. Gallen, the University of California, Berkeley, UCLA, New York University, the University of Toronto, McGill University, ESCP Business School, EDHEC Business School, KU Leuven and the University of Amsterdam, among many others.
