In the past few weeks, we have been working on contextualizing this campaign in our PSHE sessions with Key Stage 3 students. Giulia Mendonça Rossi Cuppoloni, an Year 12 student, is taking the lead in this action as her Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) project for the baccalaureate program. She organized and prepared an explanation about what is going on in Brazil, regarding coming back to the UN Hunger Map and the relations and impacts from the COVID pandemic in our country. She also talked with them a little bit about the NGO we are collaborating with, “Amigos do Bem'', and the work they are doing in the NorthEast region. A really nice opportunity for them to develop a sense of belonging here and their responsibilities as citizens.
As a result, they did posters advertising the campaigns and we have chosen the more creative ones to be at the Extra Curricular Activities wall in our Secondary building! As we are aware not everyone is coming to school, we are sharing them here in this blog for your appreciation.
Also, we would like to remind you the donations are happening until this Friday, June 11th. Let's show the strength of the BCB community!
