My first name is Mafalda but everyone calls me by my second name - Tania. I was born in Lisbon, Portugal. My career started in the Hospitality Industry but I then pursued my passion for teaching and spent a few years conducting professional courses for my area of expertise.

I’ve come to Brazil to work for The British College of Brazil in July 2013. BCB is more than just my work place, it’s one of my favourite places!!! It is a privilege to be around children all day long and get to share with families who visit us our fabulous environment and international community.
I have two daughters, fourteen year old Rita and ten year old Liliana, who absolutely love the school too and wouldn’t want to study anywhere else. We are the proud owners of a tiny Yorkshire called Ruca and a gorgeous lazy cat called Miau. They always travel with us and every year we go on a car adventure to explore Brazil a little more.
