Principal
I began my teaching career in 1982 at a small village School in Norfolk. However, it was during my 6 years at Bangkok Patana School that I discovered my passion for international education. My international school career began in the classroom over 17 years ago. I studied computer science in university and after a few years working in the IT sector in my home country of Canada, I decided to sell everything I owned and try the challenge of living and working overseas. I spent the following winter volunteering in rural Uganda, before accepting a role teaching technology at a secondary school in Shenzhen. I fell in love with education, especially the multi-cultural and multi-lingual environments international schools benefit from, and decided to focus my career on being part of and supporting international education.
