Opening the Secondary building is a huge milestone in the school's history, so it was a pleasure to share this moment with those who have seen BSG grow from a small Pre-Nursery class to two campuses of over 1000 students.
The evening began with drinks and canapes before guests were invited to see the Consul-General, Matthew Rous, cut the ribbon to the Secondary entrance. A presentation followed to recognise members of staff, students and parents that have been with the school for over 8 years, which really demonstrated the dedication and commitment of our whole community.
We also had a wonderful performance from the 'Hairspray' cast, a speech from our Head of Secondary, Iain Ruck, and the Consul-General unveiled a commemorative plaque.
Guests could then enjoy a tour of the building and a fantastic display of artwork from our students, created to celebrate a decade of the British School.
Thank you to everyone who took part and to Andrew Fitzmaurice for taking time out to visit us for this special event.
More importantly, a big thank you to our School Principal, Mark Thomas, for spearheading world-class international education and excellence at BSG.
