EAL Teacher

I gained an MSc from the University of Glasgow and a CELTA from Cambridge before taking the exciting step to join the British School of Guangzhou in 2013. I have spent the last amazing 8 years here being involved in supporting children in Year 1, 2, 3 and 5. This will be my fourth year working as an EAL teacher here. Working in BSG has been thoroughly enjoyable and affirmed my desire to enhance my teaching skills and my curriculum knowledge, so I completed my PGCE through the University of Sunderland recently. To fulfil the same desire, I am also working as a content creator for the Element Projects and the DNA Collection on NAU Global Campus.

I chose to work at BSG because of the strong core values the community adhere: A love of learning, respect, integrity, responsibility, and commitment. I enjoy growing with the school and I am looking forward to witnessing its continual success in the coming years. When I am not teaching, I love travelling, reading, and writing. I am also a trail runner and have completed a few mountain races.
