Our Head Students for the 2020/21 academic year are Sandra Ho and Muhammad Adham Adnan.
Sandra Ho

Hi! I’m Sandra and I am one of the Head Students for the current academic year at BSG. I have a strong passion for humanities, and as a result, I am presently studying History, Geography, Spanish and Maths for my A Levels. I have been attending BSG for 5 years and I have enjoyed every single day here. The diverse community and the creative atmosphere continuously broaden my horizons and allow me to explore and polish my personality. I believe that a school is a place where individualism can exist in a collaborative society, and the role of a Head Student is to help every individual student to flourish, which in turn, allows the school as a whole to achieve a harmonious and productive community.
I enjoy music, dancing, acting and doing community services in my free time, and I feel that my interests have really been taken seriously and have thrived at BSG; I want every student to feel the same. This year, I have the honour to be a recognized role model in the school community and to lead various approaches that will encourage, inspire and empower every single BSG student. I wish to use my skills and knowledge to bring the students closer to one another, to nurture their interests while contributing to the community’s sustainable development goals, and to give each and every one of the students the initiative to create diverse opportunities for themselves.
Aiming to bring creativity, exuberance and ambition amongst the student body, to make long-lasting and beneficial changes for every one of us, I am confident to fulfil my duty, as well as to create opportunities that will be accessible and FUN to every fellow student at BSG. I look forward to working with all the remarkable staff and students, as well as my partner. Working in a welcoming and stimulating environment like BSG will undoubtedly be an unforgettable and exhilarating experience for all of us.
Muhammad Adham Adnan

Greetings! I am Adham (Am) Adnan and I am one of your Head Students for the 2020-21 academic year. I currently study Business Studies, Math, History and French for A levels. Studying at BSG has allowed me to grow mentally, physically and socially.
Last year, I was fortunate enough to be the UNICEF representative of Secondary at BSG. This meant I worked alongside the former Head Students, it gave myself an insight on how Head Students work with the different stakeholders of our school. I enjoy participating in activities such as; Model United Nations (MUN), Volleyball, Badminton, playing the Viola and debates. I believe that a main reason to why BSG is such an extraordinary school is due to the huge diversity within the community. We have many students who come from different parts of the world, working towards a common goal.
From what I notice, BSG should be a dynamic international school where we will be able to adapt and respond to external factors that affect our beloved school. A clear example would be the current COVID-19 situation — we fortunately are a school that is still currently running, and I hope that we will maintain our outstanding performance and overcome this issue. Personally, I will do whatever it takes to keep the school running.
