Cambodia Care Centre

26 January 2018

Mrs. Turincev, a donor for Cambodia Care Center, came to present her association following the invitation of our teacher Ms. Giroud-Sartori.

  • Cambodia CC

She first explained the unhealthy living conditions faced by slum populations. Then, she presented us the benefits of the association, created in 2006 by a pastor, on these populations: she helps the slum families near the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, by giving an education to the children the more destitute.

Thanks to the help of other associations and donors, the association has succeeded in building two schools equipped with libraries, a computer room, a medical center, a playground and a canteen. those who have no food to eat. All this is to allow them to have a job later and earn money to ensure more decent living conditions. This community today has nearly 300 students who learn English, the basics of technology but also hygiene. The association has also recently opened a milk distribution program for slum mothers. In order to financially help this association, we will organize two Bake Sale on February 16 and March 16, 2018.

A big thank you to Mrs Turincev for her intervention and for raising our awareness ...
