Parent Academy

CDL Parent Academy Logo 755x500

The Collège du Léman Parent Academy provides regular, bite-sized parenting and education advice for our community. This advice is brought to life in a series of short videos and presentations as well as through Q&A and coaching sessions.

The themes and topics are based on the requests of parents through our Parent Academy survey.

Our CDL staff have more than 1,600 years of education experience between them and are the main contributors.

There are three sections of the Parent Academy programme. You can download the full programme HERE:

Parent Plus coaching (Primary)

Targeting the needs of primary school children, the Parents Plus Children’s Programme shows parents how to communicate positively with children, illustrating ways to encourage good social skills, as well as well-researched methods to tackle behaviour and emotional problems. The aim of the course is to help parents not only solve discipline and other childhood problems, but also for parents to develop closer and more satisfying relationships with their children.

The course is free to attend and open to all CDL’s Primary parents and carers. The group will meet for nine 2 hour group sessions.
