With a student body that represents over 100 nationalities, boarding students at Collège du Léman are well prepared for success in an increasingly global society, as their day-to-day life and learning is within a truly international community of students and faculty.
The great cultural and linguistic diversity creates an incomparable platform for exchange and encourages students to develop an open and tolerant world vision. These are students that can connect and work with anyone, anywhere.
Boarders join a community of over 200 young people from across the globe and are assigned to one of 14 boarding houses according to their age and with different houses for boys and girls. Each house also has its own house parents, who in turn represent a range of nationalities and cultures. Enduring friendships and unforgettable memories are made within this nurturing environment and through shared experiences.
Activities both on and off campus develop community spirit, lifelong friendships, self-identity and emotional and social well-being. Throughout the year, we also organise several international dinners: for instance, students celebrate the Chinese New Year, decorating the dining room with Chinese decorations and having dinner all together with typical Chinese food. The students are always very happy to share their culture with the rest of the boarders and staff.
