Preschool & Primary PFA

Every member of the family is a part of the Collège du Léman community. Parents play a vital role in school life and events.

The Pre-school and Primary Parent Faculty Association (PFA) is a group of enthusiastic parents and faculty who enjoy planning activities for families and students at CDL.

All staff and parents of CDL Pre-school/Primary students are welcomed as members of the PFA and input from members is appreciated.

While the purpose of our group is to support the values and initiatives of CDL, we also want to promote a friendly and dynamic CDL community. In the past few years, we have seen growing participation from CDL families with events hosted by the PFA and we are encouraged to continue these efforts to cultivate our community. We look forward to hosting more of these events in the years ahead and to help in any way we can!

Some highlights of our past activities include:

  • International Day where we celebrate our different cultures on a fun Saturday with the home-cooked flavors from around the world, active sports and impressive talents.
  • Casual Coffees where parents are invited every few weeks to have a warm drink, make a new friend and shop the used uniform sale in support of the Primary school charity, Aarohan.
  • Escalade celebration where parent volunteers serve vegetable soup to Primary students while they watch a re-enactment of this holiday unique to Geneva.
  • Organizing and producing the Yearbooks which are treasured photo books for children to enjoy their memories from Pre-school and Primary years.
  • Halloween party where we have an excuse to dress in silly costumes, dance, eat and let the children play on the dark campus with other CDL families.

We are grateful to the volunteer class parents who help with PFA communication and assisting their teacher with other needs through the year. Most information from the PFA will come through class parents but additional announcements and reminders are made through a private Facebook group. Please click here to send a request to join!
