Proactively involved with the coordination and development of each learning environment she has dedicated herself to, Kathryn’s natural flair for mentoring was apparent from the outset of her career.
Following her studies at the University of York and the University of Leeds, she was quickly identified as a Leading Teacher in Literacy and Language. In this role, she was responsible for advising colleagues throughout the local authority as well as being entrusted to redesign curricula for struggling schools. Upon arrival at Collège du Léman, she rapidly rose through the ranks as a teacher, coordinator and deputy principal, before succeeding to her current role as principal in 2015.
Consistently celebrating each adult and child in her learning community, Kathryn has a keen eye for their vast potential and is dedicated to cultivating development, both in individuals and as a whole. Her presence and attention to excellence is evident at all levels: not only in the Primary School, but through her students’ critical thinking and love of learning as they progress onwards – through our Middle School, High School and beyond.
