A very warm welcome back to all our existing families and a special welcome to all the new students and families who have joined us this week. I hope you had a relaxing break spending quality time with your families. It seems so long ago now but at the start of the summer we held a hugely successful summer school with 150 students attending. The students and staff had a great 3 weeks and are already looking forward to the summer school next year.

The staff have been working hard over the last two weeks in preparation for the start of the academic year and we are all very excited about the term ahead and beyond. I would like to congratulate all our Year 11, 12 and 13 students for another incredible set of results that have made us all very proud to be part of BVIS. You will see from Mr Graves summary that the students achieved some exceptionally high scores in the examinations.

Behind the Scenes at BVIS
The school continues to expand with a significant number of new students enrolling to the school, leading to the need for waiting lists in some year groups. You will see from the link below how great a success the orientation day for the new families was. The students have settled in to their new classes well and already there is a purposeful learning atmosphere across the school.

Finally, I am delighted to welcome our new teachers to BVIS. They have spent the last few weeks being inducted to the school, life in Ho Chi Minh and meeting our wonderful students for the first time. Yet again we have recruited high calibre, highly qualified and experienced teachers who will serve your children well for several years to come.
