What a wonderful week we have had here at BVIS. Yesterday we hosted our very first ‘Grandparents Day’. Over 150 Grandparents visited the school and were treated to an array of wonderful activities. There was a school tour, poems and letters from grandchildren, student performances, video messages and the ever popular photo booth. We recognise that grandparents here in Vietnam play a significant role in family life and this was a great opportunity for us to thank them and give them an opportunity to see the school and see some of their grandchildren perform. I received many positive comments both during and after the morning so we shall definitely organise other similar events in the future. I would like to thank all of those grandparents who were able to attend.

Today we said goodbye to our Year 13 students as they start their study leave for examinations. We are immensely proud of them all. Some of the graduates joined the school in 2011 when the school first opened, so there are mixed emotions around the school about them finally leaving having played a significant role in the development of the secondary school over the past 5 years. These graduates were extremely generous and kind to me when I first joined the school in 2013 and made my job so much easier with their knowledge, commitment and desire to make BVIS a great place to be. On 21
May we will pay tribute to the class of 2016 at their graduation ceremony which is always one of the major highlights of the year.
In my Friday email I have announced the decision on the school fee structure for 2016/17 academic year. The new fee schedule will also be posted on our website and you can find it using the following link. We are certain that we offer good value for money and the small increase we have set will ensure that we are able to maintain the high quality of education here at BVIS for the next academic year.
SCHEDULE OF FEES 2016 – 2017
I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.
