Sports Awards Evening 2015/2016

10 June 2016

Thursday saw our 2nd annual Sports Awards Evening. This event is to recognise and celebrate the great sporting achievements of our students and coaches over the past school year. This year was particularly pleasing as BVIS won 7 first place trophies and four runners up trophies in a variety of sports. Congratulation to all winners, but especially Le Hong Nhat (13B) and Tang Thuy Nhat Linh (13V) for winning the award for best male and female athlete of the year. Mr Jamie also inspired younger students who unfortunately missed out on winning a place on the football team by providing extra football sessions at lunch times. By doing this Mr Jamie helped these students to improve their football skills, but more importantly provided an opportunity for these students to play the game they love.
