Mr Paul Holyome Weekly Update - 24/03/2017

Dear parents

We have had an amazing response to our ‘Have a Heart’ campaign. I would like to thank you all for your support and contributions you have made to this extremely important and worthwhile cause. The school has really come together well in support of the project and some of the art work that has been produced is of an exceptional standard. With the winning pieces of art we have decided to make a school calendar that will go on sale shortly. A big thank you to all our students who have contributed to the project. Three very lucky students will be travelling to the UN in New York in July as ambassadors of our school. I am certain they will do a fantastic job in outlining the important work we have done here at BVIS.

Next week we have two very special events. On Tuesday it is the turn of our EYFS children to perform their version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and then on Friday our Year 4 students will take the stage for their production of Alice in Wonderland. I can see no other fitting way to end the term and I am really looking forward to seeing both performances. I hope many of you will be able to take the time to come and support the children.

Finally, may I remind you that next Friday, 31st March, the school will close for the holidays. School will finish at 11.30am with buses leaving just after this time. Please make appropriate arrangements for the collection of your children at this time.

I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.

Paul Holyome
