This week in the Primary School
The new term is in full swing now! This week, the term 1 clubs programme began.
A huge thank you to Ms Mai who coordinates the programme in the Primary School. It’s a complex task as I am sure you can appreciate with 19 classes of Y1 – Y6 children to consider. Schedules for the outside providers, buses and teachers are now set so there can be no more changes to your child’s club choices please this term.
This term we have two clubs open for F3 children to join, providing an opportunity for physical development in addition to their school day’s activities. Our Primary sports squads and teams got underway with lots of enthusiasm, hard work and fun to be had by all.
A big special mention has to go to the swimmers who managed to get out of bed earlier than most this week to train on Tuesday and Friday morning before school, in preparation for their swim season.
For Y1 – Y6 children we have 60 clubs available, including art, community, STEM, music, and sports. Particularly popular these terms are “Junior Chef”, “Big Draw” and “Code Club” but, of course, we hope all our children enjoy their clubs here at BVIS!
