On Saturday 15th June 2019, our Graduation Ceremony was celebrated successfully with the participation from nearly 200 teachers and family members with 28 Year 13 students at the Le Meriden Hotel, Saigon. The event was filled with emotions as it is always sad to officially send a farewell to our Year 13 students, yet at the same time, a pleasure to see the young men and women they have grown into, excited about the next steps in their lives.

Opening the ceremony, our Principal, Mr Simon Higham remarked,” Graduates, your milestones have been your journey through BVIS. Whether this has been all the way through school since the school’s inception in 2011, or when you joined in Y12 to begin you’re A Level programmes, a journey is always a journey no matter how long it takes. Throughout the journey, there will have been highs and lows, successes and failures, smiles and tears, elation and frustration.”
Emotional moments were shared amongst the audience with the speeches from our students. These were delivered fluently in both English and Vietnamese by Kaysie, Stella, Ryan and Henry whose true bilingual proficiency clearly demonstrated our aim delivering a truly international education with a language focus. In their speeches, Kaysie, and Stella recalled fond memories of their learning over the past years at school and showed their deep gratitude to all of the BVIS academic staff.
