Another great Secondary Virtual Assembly went well this week on Wednesday 15th April 2020.
This week our teachers and students learnt about what acting with integrity means and how it can help us as individuals and why it is important for a community.
We then congratulated David in Year 7 on his achievement of Secondary Virtual School Experience Champion of the Week. He has completed some amazing work this week across a number of subjects, which has helped him to be Daily Champion twice over the course of a week. David’s efforts have been outstanding – well done!
The Virtual Assembly ended well with a fantastic Community Services update from Ky Dan - our Year 13 student.
In order to develop truly international citizens, BVIS emphasises the importance of community development projects, both within the school environment, and across our broader society.
We are proud to share with you that during the recent secondary holiday period, our Year 13 students including Nguyen Khac Hai Linh and Ky Dan, successfully organised a fundraising project which raised 11 million VND for the Green Bamboo Shelter. This incredible achievement, ensures that the shelter has sufficient funds to feed all of their children for an entire month!
A huge thanks to all of our BVIS students for your care, responsibility and empathy towards our community during these challenging times that we all face.
