Through the educational journey of each student, BVIS highly values the importance of developing, understanding and preserving Vietnamese culture. We often organise meaningful events, focusing upon the beautiful Vietnamese traditions that bring our extended family together to celebrate such as Full Moon Festival.
This time of year is so special for our children as they hear the story of Cuoi being retold and celebrate the moon at its biggest and brightest.
What a delight it was to see our Y3 and Y5 students performing on the stage on Friday 25th September 2020 to celebrate this year’s Full Moon Festival. Dressed in Ao Dai as we arrived at school, everyone was ready for the day of celebrations ahead and to receive their lantern as a gift from school.
