Mr Christopher Cooper
Chris studied BA (Hons) Mathematics Education with QTS, at the University of Brighton. He has worked in two different schools in the UK, carrying out the roles of KS3 coordinator, and Duke of Edinburgh coordinator across 4 different schools. He has led both departments on new and innovative teaching approaches, that have since been introduced across all 9 secondary schools in Brighton and Hove. Chris is committed to improving the Mathematical ability of all students, and believes that with high-quality learning, all students can become fluent Mathematicians. He is committed to exploring the best Mathematical teaching from around the world, and implementing appropriate strategies at BVIS. In his spare time, Chris is a keen photographer, and also enjoys sport and exploring new countries and cultures.
