Science and Biology Teacher

Mr Robert Bailey 

BSc (Hons) Cell Biology, Durham University

PGCE Secondary Sciences, University of Manchester

Rob grew up on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, before moving to the UK to study Biology at Durham University. After completing his teacher training, he moved to The Bahamas where he taught Biology, set up the school’s Environmental Committee and spearfished for invasive Lionfish. More recently he could be found teaching A level Biology in Kenya.

Having visited Vietnam some ten years ago, he is looking forward to exploring the country again and enjoying the delicious food! In his spare time, Rob enjoys hiking, scuba diving and watching Liverpool FC.
