Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English and Sport Science: Loughborough University, UK, Post Graduate Diploma in Education in Secondary Education (Physical Education): Nottingham Trent University, UK
After graduating from Loughborough University in Sports Science and English, Imogen worked for two years at a school in Lincoln, England where she pioneered and took charge of a program to raise self-esteem and confidence in young girls through sport.
After that she worked for 3 years at another International School in HCMC as a PE teacher and Head of Year. Imogen has a passion for supporting and caring for students pastorally and with overseeing their holistic academic performance. As a recent new parent herself, she feels this has added a new dimension to her teaching and is very excited to get back to working with motivated and engaging students at BVIS.
Imogen is looking forward to taking students to sports fixtures and tournaments, as well as providing extra-curricular opportunities for students to develop their skills, leadership and passion for sport. On a personal level, Imogen enjoys adventure sports and has been SCUBA-diving in many internationally recognised sites during her time in Asia. She also enjoys climbing, fitness, hiking and generally being outdoors and exploring. Vietnam is a wonderful country and traveling around it is something she is very grateful to be able to do.
